Known interactions between the following drugs: 4-Way Fast Acting, Lithium, Extended-Release

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

PHENYLEPHRINE in 4-Way Fast Acting may interact with LITHIUM in Lithium, Extended-Release
Although the cause of this potential interaction is not fully understood, lithium may alter your body's response to phenylephrine that has been given through an intravenous injection (IV). This could make IV phenylephrine less effective when used for the treatment of dangerously low blood pressure--also referred to as "hypotension". To minimize potential problems in an emergency situation, be sure to give your doctor a complete list of the drugs that you are currently taking--especially prior to having any type of surgery performed--so that the necessary adjustments can be made. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered minor in severity.
