Panax Ginseng in Panax schinseng may interact with
PHENYLEPHRINE in 4-Way Fast Acting
Both Panax ginseng and phenylephrine, which is often included in non-prescription cold medicines, increase activity in the central nervous system (CNS). Stimulating the CNS may increase mental alertness and possibly improve physical performance, temporarily. However, too much CNS activity may increase the risk of unwanted effects, such as anger, confusion, insomnia, nausea, and restlessness. More serious results may include increased heart rate and high blood pressure. In general, Panax ginseng should not be taken at the same time as phenylephrine.
