CARBAMAZEPINE in Carbamazepine ER may interact with VORICONAZOLE in Vfend Injection
Voriconazole is broken down in the body by the liver. Carbamazepine may increase the speed at which voriconazole is broken down by the liver. This may result in less voriconazole in the body and less effect of voriconazole. Use of voriconazole and carbamazepine at the same time is not recommended. Ask your healthcare provider about these drugs and this potential interaction as soon as possible.
