Blessed thistle in Carbenia Benedicta may interact with ESOMEPRAZOLE in Nexium
Blessed thistle contains substances that may increase the production of stomach acid. If blessed thistle is taken at the same time as esomeprazole, a drug that is generally used to suppress stomach acid, then esomeprazole's effectiveness may be reduced. As a result, acid indigestion may not be controlled and ulcers may not heal. Generally, blessed thistle should not be used at the same time as drugs like esomeprazole are taken. Inform your doctor before taking esomeprazole with blessed thistle or any other herbal supplement. You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered minor in severity.
