Known interactions between the following drugs: Adapin, Levothyroxine

Although the cause of this potential interaction is not fully understood, either drug may alter the effects of the other. Levothyroxine may cause doxepin to start working faster than it normally would. On the other, doxepin may increase the risk of side effects from levothyroxine including nausea and vomiting, nervousness, and a rapid heart beat. If you are taking doxepin and levothyroxine at the same time and begin to experience problems, your doctor may consider stopping therapy with either drug.
