TRANYLCYPROMINE SULFATE in Parnate may interact with AMPHETAMINE in Adderall
A serious or potentially life-threatening increase in blood pressure may occur when tranylcypromine and amphetamine are used at the same time. This interaction may occur for several weeks after therapy with tranylcypromine has been stopped. The maker of tranylcypromine recommends that this drug should never be taken together with amphetamine. Wait at least 2 weeks after stopping therapy with tranylcypromine before using amphetamine. Ask your healthcare provider about these drugs and this potential interaction as soon as possible.
