Known interactions between the following drugs: Celebrex, Trivalent Chromium

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

Chromium in Trivalent Chromium may interact with CELECOXIB in Celebrex
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as celecoxib, may increase both the absorption of chromium and the length of time that chromium remains in the body. As a result, chromium levels may be higher than expected. No serious side effects have been reported. However, if supplemental chromium is taken at the same time as celecoxib, the risk of chromium side effects such as headaches or insomnia may be increased. Individuals who take both celecoxib and supplemental chromium should be alert for signs of chromium side effects. Those who experience problems may need to reduce or stop doses of supplemental chromium. You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered minor in severity.
