Gotu Kola in Centella asiatica may interact with ROSUVASTATIN in Crestor
It is believed that taking large amounts of gotu kola may raise cholesterol levels in the blood. If gotu kola is taken at the same time as rosuvastatin, a drug to lower cholesterol, the drug may not work adequately and cholesterol may not be controlled as well as expected. In general, gotu kola should not be taken while rosuvastatin is being used to control cholesterol.
You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems.
This interaction is poorly documented and is considered minor in severity.
