Known interactions between the following drugs: Cerebyx, Cipro

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

FOSPHENYTOIN in Cerebyx may interact with CIPROFLOXACIN in Cipro
Although the cause of this potential interaction is not clearly understood, blood levels of fosphenytoin may be decreased when used with ciprofloxacin. This could make fosphenytoin less effective at controlling seizures. If you are already using fosphenytoin and are taking ciprofloxacin for the first time, your doctor may want to monitor you closely to see how well the fosphenytoin is working. If you are experiencing problems, it may be necessary to adjust the dose of fosphenytoin. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered moderate in severity.
