DIAZEPAM in Diazepam
may interact with CHARCOAL in Charcoal Plus
Diazepam is absorbed into the bloodstream through the gastrointestinal system. Charcoal may reduce the absorption of diazepam into the blood and remove diazepam that is already in the blood, reducing the effectiveness and possibly helping prevent toxic levels of diazepam if too much diazepam is taken. Charcoal is most commonly used as an antidote to remove medications from the blood when too much of a medication is taken or overdosed.
