Known interactions between the following drugs: Chromium, Maxidex

Corticosteroid drugs, such as dexamethasone are known to increase the loss of chromium by the body. In theory, a chromium deficiency may occur when dexamethasone is being taken - especially in high doses and/or on a long-term basis. Although chromium deficiencies are extremely rare, continuing very low levels of chromium possibly may contribute to abnormalities in blood sugar and blood fats. Individuals who take a chromium supplement at the same time as dexamethasone, should be aware that the effects of chromium may be decreased. You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems.
