Known interactions between the following drugs: Agnus Castus, Lithium

Because chemicals in chaste tree berries may allow more of a natural body chemical known as dopamine to circulate in the blood, dopamine's effects may increase. Drugs such as lithium, however, reduce the effects of dopamine to relieve nausea or to treat psychoses. Taking chaste tree berries at the same time as lithium may interfere with the drug's effectiveness, and the condition that lithium is intended to treat may not be controlled as well as expected. In general, chaste tree berries and lithium should not be taken at the same time.
