Known interactions between the following drugs: Coreg, Hawthorn

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

Hawthorn in Hawthorn may interact with CARVEDILOL in Coreg
Chemicals in hawthorn are thought to lower blood pressure. If hawthorn is taken at the same time that a blood-pressure lowering drug such as carvedilol is used, blood pressure may become too low. Signs of low blood pressure may not be apparent, but fainting, dizziness, confusion, headache, and an irregular heartbeat could be signs that blood pressure is too low. In general, hawthorn should not be taken at the same time as carvedilol. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is well-documented and is considered moderate in severity.
