Hawthorn in Crataegus oxyacantha may interact with
LISINOPRIL in Lisinopril
Chemicals in hawthorn are thought to lower blood pressure. If hawthorn is taken at the same time that a blood-pressure lowering drug such as lisinopril is used, blood pressure may become too low. Signs of low blood pressure may not be apparent, but fainting, dizziness, confusion, headache, and an irregular heartbeat could be signs that blood pressure is too low. In general, hawthorn should not be taken at the same time as lisinopril.
