Known interactions between the following drugs: Cyclosporine Oral Solution, Vfend Injection

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

VORICONAZOLE in Vfend Injection may interact with CYCLOSPORINE in Cyclosporine Oral Solution
Voriconazole may prevent cyclosporine from being broken down in the digestive system. It may also block the breakdown of cyclosporine by the liver. If either of these things happen, blood levels of cyclosporine could be increased. This could increase the risk of serious side effects, including damage to the kidneys or to the central nervous system. This potential interaction may occur within a few days after these drugs are first taken together. If voriconazole and cyclosporine are used together, your doctor may want to monitor you closely to make sure that you are not getting too much cyclosporine. You may also need to be examined to see if your kidneys are functioning properly. If you are experiencing problems, it may be necessary to adjust the dose of cyclosporine. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is well-documented and is considered moderate in severity.
