Ginger in Imber
may interact with DANAPAROID in Danaparoid Injection
Amounts of ginger used in cooking are not thought to be big enough to affect blood clotting. However, chemicals in ginger may reduce the blood's ability to form clots. When large, continual doses of ginger are taken together with drugs like danaparoid that also decrease the blood's ability to clot, the risk of dangerous bleeding may increase. Individuals who take both may need more frequent blood tests to make sure that blood is clotting properly. Those who experience problems may need to decrease or stop taking large doses of supplemental ginger until danaparoid is discontinued.
