Known interactions between the following drugs: Danaparoid Injection, Purple Medick

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

Alfalfa in Purple Medick may interact with DANAPAROID in Danaparoid Injection
Alfalfa contains vitamin K, which may increase the blood's tendency to form clots. Alterations in blood clotting may result if alfalfa is taken together with drugs like danaparoid that decrease the blood's ability to clot. The drug may not work as well and potentially dangerous clots may form. If alfalfa and danaparoid are taken together, more frequent blood tests may be needed to make sure that blood is clotting properly. Individuals who take both and experience problems, may have to stop taking alfalfa until danaparoid is discontinued. You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered minor in severity.
