DEXAMETHASONE in Dexamethasone Skin Aerosol may interact with VORICONAZOLE in Vfend Injection
Voriconazole may block the breakdown of dexamethasone by the liver. If this happens, blood levels of dexamethasone could be increased. This may cause an increase in both the intended effects and the side effects of dexamethasone, including stomach irritation, facial swelling, and mood changes. If these drugs are used together, your doctor may want to monitor you closely for side effects and adjust the dose of dexamethasone if needed.
