ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM in Lipitor may interact with DIAZEPAM in Diazepam Intensol

Although the cause of this interaction is not completely understood, it is thought that atorvastatin may interfere with the breakdown of diazepam in the body. If this happens, blood levels of diazepam could increase leading to an increase in diazepam's effects such as increased or prolonged drowsiness.
