ISOCARBOXAZID in Isocarboxazid may interact with

Although the exact causes of this potential interaction are not understood completely, isocarboxazid may increase the effects of benzphetamine. In addition, the risk of side effects such as confusion and headaches may also increase. Potentially life-threatening high blood pressure may occur, as well. isocarboxazid and benzphetamine should never be taken at the same time. Because isocarboxazid is known to stay in the body for long periods of time, you should wait at least 2 weeks after stopping isocarboxazid before using benzphetamine.
