Ginkgo Biloba in Ginkgo Biloba
may interact with GABAPENTIN in Gabapentin
Ginkgo contains chemicals that may cause seizures. The potentially harmful chemicals are most concentrated in ginkgo seeds; therefore, gingko seeds should never be consumed. However, reports of seizures have been associated with taking products made from ginkgo leaf, as well. If ginkgo is used at the same time as gabapentin, a drug frequently used to control seizures, the drug may not work as well as expected, and seizures may occur. Ginkgo should not be used while gabapentin is taken.
