Tryptophan in L-tryptophan
may interact with PENTOBARBITAL in Pentobarbital Oral
Currently, tryptophan is not recommended for use as a dietary supplement. In addition, tryptophan contains substances that promote sedation. When it is used at the same time as pentobarbital, product may intensify pentobarbital's sedative effect. Excessive drowsiness, slowed breathing, loss of muscle control, and even coma may result. Tryptophan should not be used - especially at the same time as pentobarbital.
