Kava-Kava in Tonga

The use of kava is discouraged due to serious side effects that it may cause. In addition, both kava and red clover contain chemicals that may reduce the blood's ability to form clots. When taken together, they can increase the risk of dangerous bleeding. Kava should not be used -- especially with red clover.
