Known interactions between the following drugs: Atropine, Hyoscyamine, Phenobarbital, and Scopolamine Elixir, Maxidex

1 interaction was found for the drugs you selected.

PHENOBARBITAL in Atropine, Hyoscyamine, Phenobarbital, and Scopolamine Elixir may interact with DEXAMETHASONE in Maxidex
The removal of the dexamethasone from the body may be stimulated by phenobarbital. If this happens, then less dexamethasone is available for the body to use, which may make it less effective. If possible, dexamethasone and phenobarbital should not be used together. If the two drugs are used together, your doctor may closely monitor your response to dexamethasone and adjust the dose, if needed. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is well-documented and is considered moderate in severity.
