Known interactions between the following drugs: Axert, Vfend Injection

Voriconazole may block the breakdown of almotriptan by the liver. It may also reduce the elimination of almotriptan by the kidneys. If this happens, blood levels of almotriptan could be increased and this could cause an increase in side effects. Side effects that may occur with the use of almotriptan include ischemia (insufficient blood in the tissue), irregular heart rhythm, and elevated blood pressure. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.
