Known interactions between the following drugs: Bellergal-S, Vfend Injection

2 interactions were found for the drugs you selected.

VORICONAZOLE in Vfend Injection may interact with ERGOTAMINE TARTRATE in Bellergal-S
Ergotamine is broken down in the body by the liver. Voriconazole may prevent the breakdown of ergotamine by the liver causing blood levels of ergotamine to be elevated. This may cause increased side effects from ergotamine such as redness of the arms and legs. If this occurs, contact your doctor. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered major in severity.

VORICONAZOLE in Vfend Injection may interact with PHENOBARBITAL in Bellergal-S
Voriconazole is broken down in the body by the liver. Phenobarbital may increase the speed at which voriconazole is broken down by the liver. This may result in less voriconazole in the body and less effect of voriconazole. Use of voriconazole and phenobarbital at the same time is not recommended. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered major in severity.
