Yarrow in Achillea may interact with DILTIAZEM in Cardizem Injection
Chemicals in yarrow are thought to lower blood pressure, slightly. If yarrow is taken at the same time that a blood-pressure lowering drug such as diltiazem is used, blood pressure possibly may become too low. Signs of low blood pressure may not be apparent, but fainting, dizziness, confusion, headache, and an irregular heartbeat could indicate that blood pressure is too low. Individuals who take yarrow at the same time as diltiazem should watch for signs of low blood pressure. Those who experience problems may need either to stop taking yarrow or to adjust its dose. You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered minor in severity.
